For 19 years, I have been inspired by the very talented, Thea Segal. Thea combines her sophisticated European sensibility with an artistic appreciation for color, particularly a muted palette style.
Thea’s renowned furniture and design have been featured in magazines such as Elle Decor, Town & Country and Hello. Thea’s home stores were also published in Los Angeles Magazine as having the “best furniture” in the “Best of L.A.” issue.
In addition to these marvelous publications, Thea was the winner of HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge and has been the designer for countless high profile properties, including Charlie Chaplin’s 1920s home, Actor, Forrest and Keisha Whitaker’s house, Producer, Cathy Konrad and James Mangold’s residence as well as the President of Northwestern University’s house in Evanston, IL.
Together, Thea and I have collaborated to create an exclusive line of furniture that prides itself on its simple interpretation of updated historic European pieces with a Swedish palette. The marked difference behind prized antiques and this new line is not only its functionality, but also the fact that the pieces are handcrafted by local artisans with the best materials.
Together, we have created a luxury furniture line that would steal the attention in anyone’s home; available exclusively online and in store through A Beautiful Mess.
